Website Redesigned with 9-Language Support

A full redesign with Japanese as the primary language and eight additional variants.

In April 2026, the Ichiro Scissors website was relaunched with a complete redesign.

The most significant change: Japanese is now the primary language. Ichiro is a Tokyo brand, and we decided it was right to tell our story in our own language first.

The site supports nine languages total — Japanese, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Each language has its own URL path, so hair professionals anywhere in the world can reach us in their own language.

The design was also rebuilt to reflect Japanese aesthetic principles — Ma (間, negative space), wabi-sabi (quiet imperfection), kansō (simplicity). The palette uses understated kincha gold accents against muted sumi-iro dark and kinari cream. Fewer elements, more room to breathe.

We hope this new site serves as a better bridge between hair professionals worldwide and the work we do in Tokyo.
