Blade terminology

Semi-convex edgeセミコンベックス刃Between convex and bevel. Prioritises durability
Bevel edgeベベル刃Traditional geometry: one side flat, other side angled
Sword blade剣刃Convex variation with a gently curved outer line, like a katana
Edge刃先 / エッジThe working edge; its geometry helps shape cutting behaviour
Belly刃の腹The face between edge and spine
Spine / Back刃の背The thick back that provides rigidity

Handle terminology
