Our Story
Ichiro Scissors is a professional hair scissor brand headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2004, we have delivered precision cutting and thinning tools to hair professionals across six continents.
What began as a partnership with international scissor stores has grown into a trusted brand used in salons across Japan, Australia, USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Asia.
Materials
Quality & Materials

Every pair of Ichiro Scissors features premium hardened steel rated 57-62 HRC. The convex edge cuts cleanly. The blade stays sharp longer than a beveled edge, because the curve does not have a flat plane to dull.
Each scissor is inspected and tested by our Tokyo team before it ships. Modern quality standards. Traditional attention to detail. The result is a cutting tool that performs the same on the first day as on the hundredth.
Prepared in Japan
Our Tokyo workshop

Every scissor in the Ichiro range passes through our Tokyo headquarters before it ships. Blade alignment is checked. Tension is set. The finish is inspected.
This is the quiet step that separates a professional scissor from a generic one. The work happens before the box is sealed — not after a complaint arrives.

Caring for your scissors

To keep your Ichiro Scissors performing their best:
- Oil the blades regularly with camellia oil or a similar high-quality oil
- Wipe away excess oil with a soft cloth after application
- Have your scissors professionally sharpened — do not attempt to sharpen convex edge blades yourself
