In 2015, Ichiro Scissors received its first international recognition: the Scissor Hub Award in the Best Value Hairdressing Scissor Set category.
The judging looked at professional and apprentice sets. Material quality, edge retention, handle ergonomics, and value against competing products were all evaluated.
This first award marked the start of a run of recognition that continued in the years that followed.
